Pre-launch status
Before checkout is activated, the site will display the operator's complete business contact details, the final payment method, the order process and the terms in a format the customer can retain.
Planned service
FA-72 membership is intended to provide:
- a complete FA-72 Red Sea Commercial Transit Risk Monitor every 72 hours during an active monitoring cycle;
- FA-FLASH notices when a material threshold is crossed between scheduled issues;
- a sequential subscriber archive and assessment history;
- forward indicators across 72-hour, 7-day and 14-day horizons; and
- delivery by email and member access when the publication platform opens.
“Every 72 hours” applies during an active monitoring cycle. It does not promise continuous publication indefinitely or a flash alert for every reported incident. Publication is driven by the defined product cycle and materiality threshold.
Price, billing and renewal
The planned introductory launch price is £30 per month, with no joining fee and no minimum term. If that price changes before launch, the final price will be shown clearly before any order is placed.
The intended arrangement is monthly payment in advance with automatic renewal until cancelled. The checkout will identify the billing date, accepted payment method and the fact that the order creates an obligation to pay.
Order and contract formation
Before payment, the customer will be shown the service description, total price, start date, renewal arrangement and cancellation method, and will be able to correct order errors. A contract will be formed only when OPTARUS accepts the order and sends confirmation in a form the customer can retain.
The confirmation will identify the subscriber, the membership supplied, the price, the billing and renewal dates, and the terms applying at the time of purchase.
Access, permitted use and copyright
Membership is intended for the subscribing individual or organisation identified at checkout. Unless a written organisational licence states otherwise, reports may be used internally for decision support but may not be resold, republished, posted publicly or systematically redistributed.
Brief extracts may be quoted for legitimate professional discussion with appropriate attribution, subject to applicable copyright exceptions. Subscriber credentials must not be shared outside the licensed user or organisation.
Availability and service limits
OPTARUS will take reasonable care in producing and delivering the service but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, complete source availability or that every relevant development will be identified. Publication can be delayed by verification requirements, source outages, legal review or events outside reasonable control.

Changes to price or service
Material changes affecting an existing subscriber will be communicated before they take effect. Price changes will not be applied retrospectively. Subscribers will be able to cancel before a changed renewal price applies.
Consumer rights and governing law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Business customers and consumers may have different statutory rights; any mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
The intended governing law is the law of England and Wales, while consumers retain any mandatory protections that apply where they live. The dedicated Cancellation Terms explain the proposed monthly cancellation process and cooling-off treatment.
