Pre-launch status
Cancel at any time
The planned membership has no minimum term. Subscribers will be able to cancel before their next renewal. Once cancellation is confirmed, no further monthly payment will be taken.
Unless a statutory cancellation or refund right requires otherwise, access will continue until the end of the paid billing period.
Consumer cooling-off rights
UK consumers normally have 14 days from entering a distance service contract in which to cancel. If a consumer expressly asks for the service to begin during that period and later cancels, OPTARUS may be entitled to a proportionate payment for service supplied before cancellation.
Where an assessment or other digital content is supplied immediately, the checkout will obtain the consumer's express consent to immediate supply and acknowledgement of any resulting loss of the cancellation right once supply begins. These points will be stated before purchase and repeated in the contract confirmation. Nothing on this page limits statutory rights.
Refunds
Outside statutory rights, duplicate charges, material service failure or another legal entitlement, monthly fees are not intended to be refunded on a pro-rata basis after the billing period has begun. Consumers retain the remedies that apply if digital content or services do not conform to the contract or applicable consumer law.
How cancellation will work
Before launch, OPTARUS will provide a straightforward cancellation method through the membership account and a written contact route. Cancellation will not require a telephone call or unnecessary steps. The customer will receive confirmation in a form that can be retained.
The full business email and correspondence details will be added before subscriptions open.
Cancellation or suspension by OPTARUS
Access may be suspended for non-payment, credential sharing, unlawful use or material breach of the subscription terms. Where reasonably possible, the subscriber will be told the reason and given an opportunity to resolve the issue.
If OPTARUS permanently ends a paid service without supplying the remaining paid period, an appropriate refund or credit will be provided where required.
